If you are nostalgic about the now-discontinued Zune players and want to play videos on your devices, you may need a software utility to help you prepare your media.
Airy DVD to Zune is one such application whose purpose is to extract clips from your DVDs and get them ready for use on your Zune devices, all with little user input being necessary in the process.
First of all, you need to know that Airy DVD to Zune sports a lightweight user interface that anyone could get accustomed to in a short amount of time. You simply need to import content from a DVD or open an IFO file, then take a look at your movie in the main window.
It is worth mentioning that there are three copy modes available for you to choose from so that you can work with the entire movie, separate chapters, or clips you can split as you see fit.
Regardless of your choice, you need to know that there are various output file formats you can convert your DVDs to. MPG, AVI, WAV, WMV, MP4, 3GP, and FLV are all supported both by Zune devices and our application. Aside from that, including or opting out of subtitles is on the feature list.
Needless to say, specifying an output directory should ensure you store your new clips in a convenient location.
As for the “Settings” section, the program comes with a series of options as well, letting you adjust the audio volume, choose the file split mode, fiddle with the resolution, frame rate, and video quality, plus a lot more, with the possibility of restoring the defaults at any point.
All in all, Airy DVD to Zune is a handy DVD ripper that can prepare videos for your Zune devices in no time. Considering that it features a simplistic GUI and did not trigger any errors during our tests, anyone could give it a try.
