The interface of the program is plain and simple to navigate through. Video clips can be imported into the list by using the file browser, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed.

In the queue you can read the name, source and output format, start and end time, along with status of each video. After you specify the destination folder and file type, you can proceed with the encoding job.

Furthermore, you can change audio and video properties when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, sample frequency rate and channel mode. Optionally, you can disable the audio stream.

On top of that, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and trim them by marking the start and end time values or position, as well as enable Amadis DVD Ripper to automatically turn off the computer or to open the destination folder after encoding.

The video conversion software requires a moderate amount of system resources, has a fair response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality in the output files. There's also a brief step-by-step guide for novices at your disposal. We haven't come across any problems during our testing and strongly recommend Amadis DVD Ripper to all users, regardless of their experience level.
